Whilst most other building components have become entirely standardized or entirely customized , door furniture ( trim ) manufacturers can offer a vast range of styles to cater for all architectural needs.</div> <bR> <div> It is time for an intelligent range, able to offer a distinctive but recognizable image - functional and consistent in its mechanism but easily adaptable - attractive to architect and client alike.</div> <bR> <div> Sembla is that intelligent range. It has been created by the UK design group A.S.K. in partnership with Allgood the creators of Modric , drawing on the designer's substantial experience in designing building products throughout Europe.</div> <bR> <div> Construction </div> <bR> <div> Sembla is built up around a core, or node. This is a constant patinated and sealed stainless steel component which makes the physical connection to the lock, the door or the wall. </div> <bR> <div> Around the node, a choice of levers, pull handle grips and tips are assembled in the factory to form complete products. In this way, a variety of door handles is available, all with a uniting element which identifies them as Sembla. </div> <bR> <div> The proportion and detailing of the junction between node, tip and lever ensure that the simplest lever handle will stand as a classic. Other tip and lever </div> <bR> <div> designs create more configurations and the same choice of tips and levers can be used on either end of pull handle grips. </div> <bR> <div> Sembla accommodates the requirements of zoning, so the basements of a building as well as the boardrooms can be covered within the range, always using the same mechanism-to-lock interface. </div> <bR> <div> It creates the possibility of separating the functional part from the 'decorative thus enabling retrofit refurbishment. </div> <bR> <div> All lever handles are factory assembled using patented, military specification, self-locking thread form fixings. The range is produced in UK factories holding accreditation to the BS EN ISO 9000 Quality Management System. </div> <bR> <div> All items are available in Grade 316 satin or polished stainless steel and the famous Modric Aluminum and are designed to operate in conjunction with the Modric range of locks and fittings.</div> <bR> <div> The Sembla designs conceal a strength and durability suited to the most  </div> <div> arduous of environments.
